Parents As Teachers – Olathe
Olathe Parents As Teachers provides support to families with personal visits, group connections/playgroups, resource networking, as well as developmental, social/emotional, health, hearing, and vision screenings. The Program provides support to families in the Olathe School District.
Olathe Parents as Teachers also participates in the Kansas City Area Parents as Teachers Consortium Supporting Care Providers through Personal Visits (SCVP) in English and Spanish. This PAT curriculum employs provider educators to make personal visits with home-based child care, which includes licensed family child care providers and family, friend and neighbor child care providers to partner with them on relationship enhancement with parents, child/provider/parent activities, room arrangement, nutrition, developmental screening for children and much more.
